Volunteers  Committee

The Volunteers Committee is responsible for sourcing volunteers for the 45th District.  Volunteers can participate in any of the standing committees, or can help with the following kinds of activities:

  1. Voter outreach: Engaging with constituents through door-to-door canvassing, phone banking, and community events.
  2. Campaign support: Assisting candidates running for office in that district with tasks like distributing campaign materials and organizing rallies.
  3. Voter registration: Helping eligible citizens register to vote and providing information about the registration process.
  4. Get-out-the-vote efforts: Encouraging registered voters to cast their ballots, especially during election periods.
  5. Issue advocacy: Promoting awareness of key legislative issues affecting the district.
  6. Fundraising: Organizing events and activities to raise money for candidates or causes.
  7. Grassroots organizing: Building a network of engaged citizens to support political activities in the district.
  8. Election day support: Volunteering at polling stations or providing transportation for voters.
  9. Community service: Organizing events or projects to benefit the local community.
  10. Liaison with elected officials: Communicating constituent concerns to representatives and senators.
