Washington State Attorney General Bob Ferguson will kick off the discussion, which will be facilitated by France Giddings of Kirkland Meaningful Movies. AG Ferguson is seeking a “transformative” payout of $38 billion from three pharmaceutical distribution companies to undo the damage in Washington state from more than 8,000 opioid deaths and to pay for treatment services, criminal justice costs, public education campaigns and other costs.
